AP-972 Pentium® III Xeon® Processor System Compatibility Guidelines
This document describes the main differences that exist between the 600
MHz+ Pentium® III Xeon® processor
and previous generations of Intel® SC330 processors. These
guidelines are intended as a checklist to determine whether or not a
system designed for previous SC330 processors will be able to support a
600 MHz+ Pentium III Xeon processor, and as a
summary of requirements for new platforms intending to support a 600
MHz+ Pentium III Xeon processor.
