Please join Intel CIO Diane Bryant as she moderates a panel with Intel Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Malcolm Harkins and CISOs from several different industries as they provide the audience direct visibility into the rapidly changing security landscape, and the evolving approach to enterprise security. The panel will be a moderated roundtable with time for audience questions at the end. There will be a wide range of discussions of security impacts due to emerging technologies, from consumerization to the move to the cloud. The panel also will address changing security paradigms and future trends that are becoming more relevant, such as context-aware computing and personal devices being used in Enterprise IT.

Diane M. Bryant is corporate vice president and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Intel Corporation where she is responsible for Intel's Information Technology organization. Intel's IT organization delivers strategic value by providing professional support, applications, and solutions that enable Intel's growth and transformation.
Previously, Bryant held several positions including general manager of the Server Platforms Group, responsible for Intel's server, workstation, and storage business encompassing all elements of the platform including hardware, software, and services. She was also director of the Corporate Platform Office, responsible for driving the transformation of Intel to a platform-directed company, and GM of the Enterprise Processor Division responsible for the architecture, design, and delivery of Intel's Xeon and Itanium processor families. Before joining the Enterprise group in 1998, Bryant was Director of Engineering of the Mobile Products Group responsible for Intel's mobile processors and chipsets.
Bryant received her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from U.C. Davis in 1985 and joined Intel the same year. She holds four U.S. Patents.

Malcolm Harkins is vice president of the Information Technology Group and chief information security officer (CISO) and general manager of Information Risk and Security. The group is responsible for managing the risk, controls, privacy, security, and other related compliance activities for all of Intel Corporation's information assets. Before becoming Intel's first CISO, Harkins held roles in Finance, Procurement, and Operations. He has managed efforts encompassing IT benchmarking and Sarbanes Oxley systems compliance. Joining Intel in 1992, Harkins previously held positions as the profit and loss manager for the Flash Products Group; general manager of Enterprise Capabilities, responsible for the delivery and support of Intel's finance and HR systems; and in an Intel business venture focusing on e-commerce hosting. Harkins previously taught at the CIO institute at the UCLA Anderson School of Business and was an adjunct faculty member at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania. He received the Excellence in the Field of Security award from the RSA conference as well as an Intel Achievement Award.
Harkins received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Irvine and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of California at Davis.
Patrick Heim

Patrick Heim is the senior vice president and chief trust officer of Salesforce.com. The scope of the chief trust officer encompasses customer trust, employee trust, and public trust. Patrick is responsible for Salesforce.com's information security program, product security, and technology audit and compliance. He also collaborates closely with corporate security, enterprise risk management, and privacy functions.
Prior to joining Salesforce.com, Mr. Heim held the role of chief information security officer for both Kaiser Permanente and McKesson Corporation. Patrick has also held security and technical leadership roles with several security technology startup companies and was a senior manager at Ernst & Young LLP.
Sherry Ryan

Blue Shield of California's chief information security officer, Sherry Ryan, is responsible for leading the strategy, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT Security programs. Sherry is also responsible for establishing and developing strong relationships with internal and external organizations—such as law enforcement and industry groups—that impact or have an interest in IT Security and Information Protection. Her organization drives the active management of policies, awareness communications, and security technology solutions.
Previously, Sherry held similar positions at Hewlett-Packard, Safeway, and Levi Strauss where she established and led their information security programs. She served as a member of former Vice President Gore's National Performance Review Small Business Advisor Task Force. Sherry holds the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2. She is a member of the High Tech Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
Sherry holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, and earned her MBA from the College of Notre Dame. She is based in San Francisco, California.
Michael Wilson

Mike Wilson, vice president and chief information security officer, has worked for McKesson for the last three years where he leads the security and IT risk management functions for the corporation. Michael has worked predominantly in IT and risk management fields across several geographies and industries, including financial services, healthcare, and consumer products and distribution. These roles have been focused on maturing risk management and security functions to provide more value to their sponsoring organizations. Prior to McKesson, he worked for many years for a global professional services organization and has held various IT positions in the AsiaPac region working in the Financial Services industry for a bank and insurance organizations.
Michael continues to support several industry organizations; as an executive advisory board member for the Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST), providing support for the Health Security Alliance, Cloud Security Alliance, and as an active member of the CSO Bay Area Council. Michael speaks regularly on various panels and conferences, notably as a governing body co-chair of the CISO Executive Summit (San Francisco). Michael holds a bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Commerce from Victoria University, New Zealand.
