What is a cool opportunity or project I've had while working at Intel?

This year, I pulled together Intel's Lean Conference. Everyone that I spoke to said it was a fantastic conference and that they learned so much-the education they took away and the things they were going to implement in their day-to-day work that's going to help them improve their job. I was extremely proud to get that feedback.

What makes this cool to me?

I'm part of the team that is manufacturing the most advanced technology on the planet and that we're making a difference to people's lives in the world. I'm really, really proud to be part of that.

What's my career path been since joining Intel?

I've been with Intel 14 years and I've had various career opportunities in that time. I started in Training, followed by Supervision, then Organization Development, and now I am in Internal Communications.

What is my typical day like?

My job is interesting because I don't actually sit in my cube all day. I go from meetings to meetings. There are never two days that are the same. In fact there's never even a morning or afternoon the same. It's great—it keeps me going and I love it.

What advice would I give to someone considering a career at Intel?

I would tell them not to be put off by a large company. It's a lot of fun, you have great managers, there are very good career paths you can take, it's very diverse, and it's a great place to work.
