3DMark*06 - CPU Test is an industry-standard 3D graphics benchmark from FutureMark* that uses DirectX* 9.0 shader models and
complex, game-like 3D scenes to evaluate PC platforms. The CPU Test measures the contribution of the
processor on 3D graphics performance while the Game Test measures simulated game performance.
3DMark06 – CPU Test can be used to represent immersive gaming. In the near future, games will use multiple cores to create an immersive gaming experience. Multiple core processors like the Intel® Core™2 Quad processor Q6600 have additional cores to run Artificial Intelligence algorithms and calculate Physics for numerous objects in the game. 3DMark06 – CPU test measures a processor’s ability to run Artificial Intelligence and Physics on multiple cores and therefore can provide some insight into how a processor may perform on future immersive games.

Quake* 4 v1.2 is first-person shooter computer game from Raven* Software/Activision*.
We run a time demo to evaluate the CPU's contribution to the average frame rate (frames per second).
Time demo tests do not provide a full measure of real game play.
From the graph you can see that all three processors significantly exceed 85 frames per second.
Thus they all deliver an excellent gaming experience on one of today's popular games.

F.E.A.R* v1.05 from Day 1/Sierra Valve* is a popular first person shooter game where we run a game scenario to assess the CPU's contribution to the average frame rate (frames per second). From the graph you can see that all three processors significantly exceed 85 frames per second. Thus they all deliver an excellent gaming experience on one of today's popular games.
