    Warranty If the troubleshooting results indicate that your desktop board is defective, verify the board is still under warranty and that Intel is the correct source for warranty support.

    Processor type Intel® Processor Numbers
    Warranty If your processor qualifies for warranty support direct from Intel, you will need to provide the following information
    • The model of the motherboard the defective processor was installed in
    • The model number of any alternative parts used to confirm the processor is defective (ex. second motherboard or another processor)
    • All the markings from the top of the defective processor and the processor fan/heatsink. See the information below regarding processor and fan markings.
