This problem can occur when another program or Windows* function starts an activity in the background while the Intel® Play QX3 Computer Microscope is running. Try the following steps in order:
- Disable any screensaver programs that are active.
- Before starting the microscope software, close other programs that are open, and check especially for any Windows* utility programs that are scheduled to run periodically.
- Disable any "Power Saving" or "Power Management" features on your computer. These features may be controlled in the Windows* Control Panel or in the system BIOS.
Note: If changes made in the Control Panel don't seem to work, check with your computer manufacturer for information on how to disable power management in the system BIOS. Then restart your computer and try again.
- Check with your computer manufacturer to see if an updated video driver is available.
Note: New drivers maybe available even if you purchased your computer very recently.
