The Intel® RAID Controller SASMF8I Quick Start User's Guide incorrectly indicates using the Intel® RAID BIOS Console 2 to create a RAID volume.
The controller is managed by the Intel® Embedded Server RAID Technology II Configuration Utility and Intel® RAID Web Console 2.
The Embedded Server RAID Technology II Configuration utility is accessed by pressing the <Ctrl>+<E> keys during boot.
Refer to the Intel® Embedded Server RAID Technology II section in the RAID Software User's Guide for information on how to create a RAID volume using this utility.
