When integrating an optional 6-Drive SCSI Hotswap Drive Cage (AXX6SCSIDB) or 6-Drive SATA Drive Cage (AXX6SATADB) the IPMB connector must be connected to the server board's HSBP_A connector. The optional 4-Drive SCSI Hotswap Drive Cage (AXX4SCSIDB) IPMB's connector should be connected to the HSBP_B connector on the server board.
The connection detailed above is required for performing a Hot Swap Controller (HSC) Firmware Update.
Note: SKU SC5295UP does not support hot swap drives or controllers.
