Processor Low Voltage Warning reported by Intel® Server Manager 8.40 [PDF]

Intel® Server Manager 8.40 may report low processor core voltage when using Intel® processors which support Intel® Enhanced SpeedStep® technology and/or Thermal Monitor 2. By design, these Intel® processor features (Enhanced SpeedStep® technology and Thermal Monitor 2) have the ability to dynamically adjust the processors core voltage and bus to core multiplier. During an Enhanced SpeedStep® technology or Thermal Monitor 2 event, Intel Server Manager 8.40 may inadvertently trigger a low processor core voltage.

The registry files for the effected server boards have been updated for Intel Server Manager 8.40. The new registry files are available on Download Center through support.intel.com. Review TA801 document for details.
