This document provides details about the architecture and feature set of three I/O modules used in the Intel® Server Board S5000PAL/S5000XAL/S5400SF and the Intel® Server Platform SR1560SF. This is a technical document intended to provide information to assist people with understanding and learning more about the specific features of the board, and covers the AXXGBIOMOD, AXXSASIOMOD, and AXXIBIOMOD.

The Intel® Server Boards above provide an option to add additional I/O functionality through the I/O module connector. This is an internal 50-pin mezzanine style connector placed on a PCI Express* (PCIe*) x4 bus.
