The Intel® RAID Controller SRCSAS18E uses the optional AXXRPCM2 Intel® Portable Cache Module 2 which provides memory integrated with battery control logic and a memory board battery.
Intel® server boards that utilize the Intel® RAID Controller SROMBSAS18E or Intel® Integrated Server RAID use the optional AXXRSBBU3 Battery backup unit. Activating the features of the SROMBSAS18E Integrated Server RAID require the optional AXXRAK18E activation key.
