When the Intel® One Boot Flash Update (Intel® OFU) is used to update the BIOS or firmware, the update may not occur until the next reboot.

When the firmware is contained in a single block, the new firmware will be active immediately upon update. When the firmware is contained in two blocks, the OFU will update the second block initially, and wait for the next reboot to update the first block. | |
