The following Intel® Server System comes with an integrated thermal solution, before installing the processors, the thermal solution needs to be carefully removed.

The removal instructions are detailed below.
(1) Loosen the screws (two rotations each screw), proceeding to opposite corners until all the screws are loosened.
(2) Remove the spacer before integrating the processor(s).
