Intel® Integrated Server RAID Controller
Microsoft Windows* 2000 Server and Windows* 2000 Advanced Server are validated on the following Intel® Server Boards. Validation was completed using Service Pack 4. These are the minimum Service Pack requirements for proper Intel® Integrated Server RAID functionality. Service Pack 4 is required for Intel® Server Board SE7520AF2, Intel® Server Board SE7520BD2, Intel® Server Board SE7520JR2, Intel® Server Board SE7320SP2, Intel® Server Board SE7320VP2, Intel® Server Platform SR1435VP2, and Intel® Server Board SE7525GP2.
LSI SCSI Integrated RAID Controller
Microsoft Windows* 2000 Server and Windows* 2000 Advanced Server are validated on the following Intel® Server Boards. Validation was completed using Service Pack 4. Service Pack 4 is required for Intel® Server Board SE7520AF2, Intel® Server Board SE7520BD2, Intel® Server Board SE7520JR2, Intel® Server Board SE7320SP2, Intel® Server Board SE7320VP2, Intel® Server Platform SR1435VP2, and Intel® Server Board SE7525GP2.
Driver Installation Methods
- When the LSI SATA or SCSI driver is installed via the Deployment CD's Express Installer*, Service Pack 4 should be installed first before attempting to install the driver.
- If you plan to use the LSI SATA/SCSI RAID(on-board or not on-board) as boot disk for the Microsoft* Windows 2000 Server or Windows* 2000 Advanced Server installation, the operating system image media must contain Service Pack 4. This is needed to successfully complete the installation.
