How to Identify A SE7520DB2 DDR/DDR2 SKU

The Intel® Server Board SE7520BD2 comes in two families that utilize different memory technologies. The information below will help to determine the difference between the two boards.

The Intel® Server Board SE7520BD2 uses DDR 266/333 memory technology and can be identified by it's PBA (Product Board Assembly) number. See Below for the respective PBA numbers associated with the available SKU.

Note: The "xxx" refers to the board revision.

The Intel® Server Board SE7520BD2D2 uses DDR2-400 memory technology and can be identified by it's PBA (Product Board Assembly) number. See Below for the respective PBA numbers associated with the available SKU.

Note: The "xxx" refers to the board revision.

There are two ways to locate the PBA number of the board:

  1. The PBA number of the baseboard is located on the white sticker attached to the board. It is in a 6 digit - 3 digit format.

  2. The PBA number can also be seen by accessing the BIOS configuration of the board.

    2.1  Go to BIOS by pressing <F2>

    2.2  Go to the System Management Sub Menu

    2.3  The PBA number should be located on the entry "Server Board Part Number" entry.
