A BIOS update is required when a "Missing Microcode" message is seen during POST.
Additionally, when using a Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 2.80 GHz on the Intel® Server Board SE7520AF2 and SE7520JR2, before performing the BIOS update, remove the second CPU first and perform a BIOS update. After performing a BIOS update, reinstall the second CPU and the system will boot normally.
