Intel® Server Board SCB2
Diagnostic LEDs on the Intel® Server Board SCB2

There are diagnostic LEDs in many locations on the Intel® Server Board SCB2 to assist the user in locating failed components. If a failure is detected, a LED next to the failed component will illuminate. Additionally, there are two status LEDs on the board which will be lit during normal operation.

The first, located next to the Auxiliary Power connector is for the 5V stand-by power. When the system is connected to a power source, this LED will light letting the user know that components on the board are being powered by the 5V stand-by power rail. This should be an indication to use caution when working in the system.

The second is an LED located near the battery, which indicates system status. If the LED is green, the system is operating normally. If the LED is amber, a fault has occurred in the system. Locate the failed component using the indicator LEDs or refer to the Intel Server Board SCB2 Technical Product Specification for additional details.
