Unable to Configure LAN Access Using the System Setup Utility (SSU)

After updating the Intel® Server Board SDS2 to the latest firmware / bios, accessing SSU and configuring LAN access generates an error of "Unable to Configure LAN Access".

The System Setup Utility on the System Resource CD is not compatible with the latest firmware / bios releases for SDS2. Download and use these versions of the System Setup Utility to configure LAN Access on the SDS2.

Download the appropriate latest SSU version.

  • SDS2_2R3.EXE - For users to copy directly to an existing SDS2 Service Partition.

  • SDS2_2R3_SETUP - For users who do not have an existing Service Partition to run the SSU from floppy disks.
