Intel® Server Board SE7320EP2
Boots Automatically When Power Cord Plugged Into PSU

The Intel® Server Board SE7320EP2 boots automatically when power cord plugged into PSU on the Intel® Entry Server Chassis SC5295BRP. After investigation, we discovered the root cause of this issue is the “Auxiliary power supply” J5 connector.

The Intel® Entry Server Chassis SC5295BRP uses the PS Alert signal (3rd cord) and the board powers up. If the customer disconnects this cable (3rd cable in the power cord connector), the system works normally.  According to our investigation, PSU in BASE chassis doesn't use this signal cord.
