Intel® Server Board SE7500CW2
IDE Connectors and Functions

There are four IDE connectors on the Intel® Server Board SE7500CW2. Two of these connectors are controlled by the ICH3 component of the chipset and provide standard ATA 100 IDE functionality. The other two connectors are controlled by the Promise* PDC20267 ATA 100 IDE RAID controller.

The Promise controlled connectors are capable of being configured in a RAID 0, RAID 1, or RAID 0+1 array. The ICH3 controls the black and white connectors. White is the primary connector and black is the secondary connector. The Promise controller controls the two blue connectors. The connector closest to the corner of the board is the primary connector and the one above it is the secondary connector.

Please refer to the board silkscreen or product documentation for additional identification assistance.
