Intel® RAID Controller SRCSAS18E
Physical drives going offline when using J5 connector

Symptom:
Physical drives may go offline intermittently if J5 connector is used for connecting SES cable to hot-swap enclosure

Cause:
J5 connector implements SAF-TE enclosure management protocol. Currently this implementation does not work properly with Intel hot-swap enclosures resulting in intermittent drive failures.

Solution:
Use J18 connector instead of J5 connector. J18 implements SES2 enclosure management protocol.

This applies to:
Intel® RAID Controller SRCSAS18E
