Error when Opening Intel(R) Audio Manager 2.0

Symptom(s):

  • Error when opening Intel® Audio Manager 2.0
  • Error: "IAUDMGR.EXE has generated errors and will be closed by Windows"
  • Error: "IAUDMGR.EXE has caused an invalid page fault in IAUDMGR"

    • Cause:
    Probable conflict with other software that is a Service Provider client.

    Solution:
    Look for other software on the system that might be a Service Provider client. These other softwares may include any of the following:

    • Rio Audio Manager
    • Nike Audio Manager
    • other audio manager softwares
    To resolve the conflict, try these steps:
    1. Update the other audio manager software to the latest version. Rio Audio Manager and Nike Audio Manager can be updated at WWW.RIOPORT.COM.
    2. If updating the other audio manager software does not work, uninstall the other software.
