Symptom(s):
- Error in the Intel® Audio Manager software
- Error: "The Intel® Pocket Concert Audio Player is not currently connected to this PC."
- Error: "An Intel® audio player is not connected to this PC."
- Audio player shows up with errors in Device Manager
- Audio player does not appear in Device Manager
Cause: Drivers are not installed correctly, most likely because the player was plugged into the computer before the software was installed.
Solution: To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
- Go to your computer's Device Manager:
In Windows* 98 and Windows Me:
- Click Start » Settings » Control Panel.
- Double-click System.
- Click the Device Manager tab.
In Windows* 2000:
- Click Start » Settings » Control Panel.
- Double-click System.
- Select the Hardware tab.
- Click Device Manager.
In Device Manager, click the + in front of Universal Serial Bus Controller.
Select the USB Composite Device.
Click the Remove button.
Click the Refresh button. Windows will redetect the audio player and properly install the drivers for it.
