A20 Handler Error Received After a 50-MHz IntelSX2(TM) OverDrive(R) Processor...

Symptom:

User installed a 50-MHz IntelSX2™ OverDrive® processor and received the following error before the system counted memory:

A20 handler error

The computer then locks up.

Description:

The switches were set for an Intel487 SX-33 and for the extra upgrade socket. If the input speed is not set correctly the OverDrive processor could have problems with the A20 handler and generate the above error.

Solution:

Set the speed to 25 MHz.
