Solid-State Drives and Caching
Intel® High Performance Solid State Drive
How to identify Solid-State Drives covered by an Intel warranty

Intel sells solid-state drives through resellers and wholesale channels (such as Lenovo*, Hewlett-Packard*, Dell*, Gateway*). Wholesale channels are also called the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Reseller solid-state drives are sold in multi-packs of individual boxes.  These SSDs carry the Intel brand and typically have a three or five year warranty direct from Intel.

Wholesale solid-state drives are not sold in individual boxes and most are pre-installed by the OEM. Intel does not provide direct warranty support for wholesale solid-state drives. You must contact your OEM or reseller for warranty support.
